What we collect
Email address, display name, password (hashed), and any profile information you choose to add (bio, country, role, industry, company size, job title, years in role, avatar). All optional fields are optional in the literal sense; we only ever store what you fill in.
How we use it
- To let you sign in and use the forum.
- To attribute your posts and comments.
- If you opt in: to send you the newsletter and segmented updates.
- To compute aggregate audience statistics shown to admins (no individual identifiers in aggregate reports).
Who we share it with
Auth is handled by Supabase (US/EU). The site is served from Vercel. Email (when wired) will go through a reputable transactional provider. We do not sell or rent your data.
Your choices
You can edit any of your profile data from your profile settings. You can opt out of the newsletter at any time. To delete your account, message a moderator.
Security
Passwords are hashed by Supabase Auth. Uploaded media is stored in a per-user folder with row-level access policies. Auth tokens are scoped to your browser only.
Cookies
We use the cookies and local storage that Supabase Auth requires for session persistence. We do not run advertising or analytics trackers.
